Up River Marketing | Marketing Services for Businesses of All Sizes
-
The first step is a free consultation. We use that time to learn about your business, your goals, and where you feel stuck with your marketing. From there we put together a custom scope of work and quote for your review. There is no pressure and no obligation.
-
No. We work on a month-to-month basis for ongoing services like social media management and email marketing. Project-based work such as website builds or logo design is completed under a one-time agreement. You are never locked into something that is not working for you.
-
Yes. When you work with Up River Marketing, you work with Megan directly. You are not passed off to a junior team member or a rotating account manager. We take time to learn your brand and stay consistent throughout our entire relationship.
-
We work with businesses and organizations of all sizes, from solo entrepreneurs just getting started to mid-size companies and larger organizations looking for overflow support or a dedicated marketing partner. Our approach is always custom-built for your needs, not one-size-fits-all.
-
Reach out and ask. We have experience across a wide range of marketing, communications, and administrative work. If it is something we can help with, we will let you know. If it is not in our wheelhouse, we will point you toward someone who can.
-
Pricing varies based on the scope and type of work. Most other services are custom quoted based on your specific needs. All pricing is confirmed in writing before any work begins.
-
Yes. Project-based work requires a deposit before we begin. Payment terms and amounts are outlined clearly in your agreement before you sign anything.
-
Absolutely. Our packages are a starting point, not a ceiling. If you need more posts, different platforms, or a combination of services, we build a scope that fits your actual situation. Everything is flexible.
-
We are proud to be a woman and veteran-owned business and we understand the budget constraints many nonprofits and community organizations face. Reach out and let us know your situation. We will do our best to find an approach that works.
-
After you sign your agreement and pay your deposit, we send over a few different questionnaires for you and your team to fill out. From there we build your first content calendar or project plan and submit it for your review before anything goes live.
-
We use a client review system in Notion where all content is submitted to you before it is published. You can approve it as-is, request edits, or ask questions. Nothing goes live without your sign-off.
-
That depends on the services you have with us. Social media clients typically receive bi-weekly content submissions for review. For ongoing projects, we check in at key milestones. You will always have a direct line to reach us and can expect a response within one business day.
-
For most services we need access to your existing brand assets, such as your logo, brand colors, and any login credentials for platforms we will manage. We walk you through exactly what is needed during onboarding so nothing falls through the cracks.
-
Yes, and we are transparent about it. We use AI tools to assist with research, SEO keyword strategy, and content ideation. It helps us work smarter and deliver stronger results for our clients.
-
No. We take the time to learn your brand voice during onboarding and every piece of content we create is specific to your business. AI tools help us research and strategize. The actual creative work is always original and tailored to you.
